Pooja Sehgal
Country Lead, Health & Nutrition CommunicationsBill & Melinda Gates FoundationPooja has been with the foundation for over 7 years, and has worked across brand, digital, health and non-health communications, media relations and government support. In her current role, she supports the health and nutrition program communications for the foundation's work in India at both the national and state level.
With over two decades of work in marketing, branding and communications Pooja worked with the technology and banking sectors, prior to joining the foundation. Her focus now is to strategize communications efforts to support program objectives - such as greater access to quality services, seeking timely care, adherence to treatment, etc. She works closely with the program and partners to leverage communications to build and sustain support for key priorities and develop an army of advocates and champions.
Pooja holds a PhD in branding from IIT Delhi. She did her Masters in Management from IIT Bombay, and holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi. Her key areas of expertise include: Marketing Strategy, Brand Positioning and Brand Building, PR and Media, Crisis Communications, Business Development, Internal and External Corporate Communications
