Prem leads strategy for Ogilvy India, recognised as the No.1 agency for Strategic Planning for the last 15 years on the trot by Brand Equity Agency Reckoner. (A recognition given by 300 + marketers and advertisers in India & run by the Times Group)
He joined Ogilvy in 2004 and has been part of the team that pioneered the planning function in the agency.
During this journey he has led strategy on some iconic brands - Unilever (Dove, Brooke Bond, Clinic Plus, Sunsilk), Coca Cola (Thums Up, Coke, Sprite, Maaza), Amazon, Asian Paints, Kellogg’s, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Bajaj, Castrol, Ceat Tyres to name a few.
He has partnered creative teams to generate work that has been awarded for creativity and effectiveness globally.
He authored the case #End acid sale, that won India’s first Cannes Effectiveness award. This was done to stop the sale of acid, often misused to attack women in India.
Under his leadership Ogilvy India has won a Grand Prix for Creative Effectiveness at Cannes for Savlon Chalk and a Silver for Creative Strategy in 2021 for Dove - Stop the Beauty Test.
He is a passionate champion of effectiveness. A testimony to this is the fact that Ogilvy India was ranked the No.1 agency in Asia and No.2 in the World on the Global Effie Index in 2020. In 2022 Ogilvy Mumbai won Agency Office of the Year at the APAC Effie and the Grand Effie for the Cannes Titanium winning ‘Not just a Cadbury ad’ with Shah Rukh Khan.
In 2022, Ogilvy India was named the Most Effective India Creative Agency in Asia by WARC.
