The 6th Annual MRSI/ESOMAR conference was organized on March 1st and 2nd, 1993, at The Regal Room, Oberai Towers, Bombay. At that time, Partha Rakshit was the President of MRSI's managing committee.
Brook Bond Ltd., The Business India Group, Herbertsons Ltd., Hindustan Ciba Geigy Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Lipton India, and VST Industries Ltd. sponsored the conference.
The conference was centered around the compelling theme of "Brand Equity and the Challenge of Branding." This topic, which remains as relevant today as it was then, sparked engaging discussions and provided valuable insights to all attendees.
