Foreword

We are pleased to present our second issue of the MRSI newsletter. The first edition was released in March this year, and we received encouraging feedback from our friends in the industry. We aim to increase the frequency from here to provide you with more opportunities to access engaging content and updates. We welcome and look forward to partnering with those who want to collaborate with us and contribute to this initiative.

The newsletter aims to offer you informative articles on industry trends, the role of technology, updates on the different initiatives that the MRSI team is pursuing, talent movements and much more. In the current edition, we have added a section called ‘The Inspiring Stories’, in which we are attempting to unfold the journeys of our MR Industry leaders, who can help us learn from their struggles, how they overcame them and instill positive thoughts within us to deal with similar situations.

In this edition, we have revisited our archives and are happy to share with you some golden nuggets from past events so that we can cherish yesteryear memories together as an industry. In the Nostalgia section, you will be able to see some snippets from the 6th Annual MRSI/ESOMAR conference organized in 1993—yes, precisely 31 years ago! We invite you to look at the event's photo gallery and try to identify the person in each picture. Let’s see how many you can recognize!

We endeavor to make the newsletter more relevant and interesting so that this becomes a platform to share your knowledge, experience, expertise, and insights through various expressive mediums like articles, guest columns, stories, as well as market-related updates and tech tips. This would also mean that we would need more active participation from you, and we look forward to receiving input on how we can improve from here.
